A new face for the academy — same CMS, same content.
Website Redesign, CMS & Managed Hosting
Case study — Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy
Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy
Fifteen years of digital partnership: a Sitefinity reskin that modernized the academy’s public site without a CMS migration, managed hosting that keeps it live, and the interactive map and custom LMS that sit beside it.
Overview
Two website redesigns and two CMS transitions over fifteen years. The last major milestone landed in 2011. Sitefinity was still a strong backbone — so the academy needed a visual redesign, not another platform move.
Keeping the CMS meant a reskin with minimum disturbance to live content, a shorter timeline, and a lower cost than a rebuild. Myriad backed up the site and database, converted approved Adobe XD layouts into HTML templates on Bootstrap 5.2, and integrated those templates as Sitefinity master pages that staff can apply to existing and future pages.
Unused pages and templates were purged with academy stakeholders. The remaining tree received the new masters, then a joint draft-mode review before an off-hours publish. Myriad continues to host and maintain the environment so the communications team publishes — they do not patch servers.
The homepage is the public front door: news, resources, and a path into SIGs and education — rebuilt as templates the staff can keep current.

The Challenge
A design that had served well since 2011 was overdue for a visual refresh. The CMS did not need replacing. Members, educators, and researchers still had to find SIGs, courses, and specialists while the public face caught up with the academy.
Beside the public site: an interactive specialist map so members and the public can find neurologic physical therapists by name or state.

The Solution
New homepage and subpage templates on the Sitefinity the academy already ran, applied across the live tree after a focus-group-informed design pass. Managed hosting keeps that platform current. Two companion products sit next to it: the specialist map, and a custom LMS built when a shared industry platform could not publish or price CEU courses on the academy’s terms.
Interior templates carry the same system into SIG leadership, resources, and the pages staff update without a developer.
